Many thanks to Junior Girl Scout Troop 284 for hosting a fantastic Halloween Party at the Hopwell Public Library.  The party was a huge success.

        The fall childrens' programs are as follows:

        Paperwave

The PaperWave program for 7-10 year olds is held every other Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. 

November 7

Paper Batik.  Create a beautiful design using a wax resist technique.
 

November 14

Perfect Turkey.  A happy Thanksgiving project.

Please note that the Paperwave Program scheduled for November 21 has been rescheduled for November 14 due to Thanksgiving Holiday.

Join us every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for Story Time and every Wednesday at 10:30 for Toddler Time. 

 

 

Toddler Time is held on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Volunteers needed for the childrens' programming.  Help is needed with implementing programs and wrapping up.  Call, 466-1625, and let the library know when you can give a hand.

NEW JERSEY CLICKS

Use www.jerseyclicks.org to find free information 24/7.  Try a great new service called JerseyClicks, brought to you by the New Jersey State Library and the regional Library Cooperatives, and located at www.jerseyclicks.org to find everyday information that you need 24/7.  Information in magazines, encyclopedias, and other resources through one user-friendly Web site from you home, office, school or public library can be looked up by using a password provided at the library.  JerseyClicks offers easy searching of 27 databases in subjects such as health ,history, business education, science and current events, literature and modern fiction.  Spanish? A Spanish language database is also included.

KNITTING GROUP

The knitting group meets every other Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. and is open to everyone.   Knitting is experiencing a strong comeback, and the library has purchased several new books thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Hopewell Public Library.  These books cover a range of expertise and will appeal to the beginner as well as the experienced knitter.  Knitting with beads, Knitted Throws, Knit Mittens, Vogue Knitting Bags and Backpacks are currently available: and Felted Knits, Knit Socks and Traditional Scandinavian Knitting will be arriving shortly
