HPL Board of Trustees
The Hopewell Public Library board of trustees has a role in determining the mission of the library, setting the policy that governs the library, and overseeing the general fiscal management of the library. The library board’s primary roles are:
• Advocate for the library in the community and advocate for the community • Plan for the future of the library • Monitor and evaluate the overall effectiveness of the library • Adopt library policies In compliance with the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act (NJSA 10:4-6 et seq.), the Hopewell Public Library Board of Trustees is providing public notice of the Board of Trustees meetings in the Hopewell Public Library, 13 East Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ, 08525. Unless otherwise noted, all meetings take place at the library on the second Thursday of the month and begin at 6:30pm. All meetings are open to the public. The schedule of meetings is published in the Hopewell Valley News. Printed copies are posted in the Hopewell Borough Municipal Building, in the Hopewell Public Library, and on the Hopewell Public Library website, www.RedLibrary.org.
